Thanksgiving is all about the table—the food, the company and, of course, the place settings! This year, we’re providing some gorgeous inspiration for your Thanksgiving table—as seen on Style Me Pretty Living—complete with marbled enamel plates, stunning hand-lettered leather place cards, and free-flowing florals in soft sunset tones. We contrasted warm fall shades of amber and copper with our signature white and grey hues to create a fresh take on fall that perfectly fits our clean and crisp style. Little entertaining vignettes help complete the look, including a stunning escort card board flanked by a jaw-dropping floral urn, and a seasonally styled bar cart featuring a muted gold sequin cake and lots of fall cocktail essentials! Cheers to a fabulous holiday season!
One of our favorite trends over the past few years has to be the addition of legit welcome parties to a couple’s wedding festivities. Whether they’re separate to or in conjunction with rehearsal dinners, these celebrations kick off what has come to be known as the “wedding weekend,” extending the party beyond just the wedding day. They set the tone for a whole weekend of wedding fun, culminating with the nuptials, of course, and often extended with a day-after brunch. For this welcome party at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, we wanted to welcome guests to the Eastern Shore in a relaxed setting that took full advantage of the area’s claim to fame—its water views. Beneath a sailcloth tent, we mixed earth and water tones to create a laid-back feel with a touch of rustic Eastern Shore flair. We especially loved the powder blue check linen and natural folding chair combo, the gorgeous boxed and terrarium arrangements from Monteray Farms, and the adorable lounge setup from White Glove Rentals. Enjoy!
We’re currently crushing on all things floral! So when we came across this anemone pattern by Kristy Rice at Momental Designs, we knew we had to design a shoot around it. Enter this spring bridal shower scene at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, where the focal pattern embellished everything from the napkins to the welcome sign to the paper goods to the paint-your-own favors. Sometimes all you need is the smallest inspiration to tie a scene together! Enjoy!
