Happy Fourth! This weekend is all about celebrating the land of the free and the home of the brave in signature summer
fashion—which means patriotic cocktails are an absolute must! We love this super refreshing Peach Pomegranate Fizz made
with Van Gogh Cool Peach vodka. Its subtle red hue from the organic pomegranate juice is festive without going over the top, especially when paired with a skewer of fresh blueberries. So here’s to you America! To freedom, to opportunity, to libations!

DIY Envelope Liners on Southern Living

DIY, featured, Styled Shoots

We have two rules when it comes to wedding DIY. Number one, it must be manageable; and number two, it has to pass for professional grade. That’s why we love this little envelope liner project recently featured on Southern Living’s The Daily South blog. These liners are simple, quick and you’d never be able to tell they’re DIY!

Materials:

Envelopes (we used Euro Flap Style A7 envelopes from Paper Source)
One piece of heavyweight cardstock
Paper for lining
Scissors
Ruler
Tape runner or glue stick (we used Tombow Mono Permanent Adhesive)

Make the template. Take an envelope and trace it onto the cardstock to make your template. Cut the template out, then trim 3/4 of an inch from the bottom and 1/8 of an inch from each side. This will ensure the liners can easily be inserted into the envelopes.

Trace the liners. Trace the template onto the back side of your envelope liner paper. Cut out the liners.

Put it all together. Insert the liners into your envelopes, folding down the envelope flap with the liner inside before securing it with the adhesive. Use a tape runner or glue stick to secure the liner to the flap.

Let’s get real. Right up there with boating, beaching and outdoor dining, our favorite “ushering in summer” activity has to be lifting a glass of rosé. Maybe it’s because rosé is just that refreshing or maybe it’s because we want to be cool. Either way, we’re toasting this soft-colored, crisp-tasting vino with an adorable shoot we styled recently for Bayside Bride. Cheers!
