Meghan and Sid wanted to keep things low-key and intimate for their spring nuptials at the picturesque Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels. So we got to work creating a scene that blended the waterfront setting with the bride’s vision for a modern meets botanical vibe. Enter greenery chandeliers, cool blue velvet linens, black flatware, wooden cross-back chairs, and a well-equipped cigar bar—all beneath a gorgeous sailcloth tent. Keeping with the intimate vibe, guests dined at long king tables, where black acrylic table numbers gave an added punch, as did the adorable salt and pepper bowls we sourced. No where was the weaving of setting and theme more evident than in the cake display—a stunning two-tier cake with a blue wave pattern accented by focal roses that sat on a marble stand atop a black and white striped linen. The epitome of waterfront meets modern meets botanical! Insane wind gusts prevented us from being able to leave the tent fully open—and rendered the pedestals for the ceremony flowers useless—but nothing was taking the wind out of Meghan and Sid’s sails on their wedding day!
