We do so many waterfront weddings, it’s easy to get stuck on the color blue (which seems to be what EVERYONE wants this year!). And while we absolutely adore layering water tones with neutrals—because it always turns out gorgeous, duh!—every now and then we need to push ourselves creatively to get out of the rut. Enter this fun tablescape that’s a tad feminine, a tad modern, and a whole lot of pretty! We’ve been literally trying to convince every client to use this black flatware from DC Rental because we’re totally obsessed. So, naturally, we had to use it on this design. From there, we wanted to steer away from basically all things traditional, so we opted for hand-lettered placemats in lieu of a table linen, used a fun triangular napkin fold (that came to us on the spot!), and incorporated modern accents like black votives and vellum menus. We’re obsessed!
