Rustic meets nautical was the name of the game for Kristin and Michael’s greenery-filled Eastern Shore wedding. Hosted on the grounds of the groom’s family home outside St. Michaels, the celebration was filled with shoreline views, layers of neutrals and possibly our favorite signature drink of all time—spicy vodka lemonade forever! Farm tables and wood signs brought out the rustic side of this family-filled celebration, while nautical touches such as oyster shell place cards and a sailcloth reception tent tied everything together from scene to table. And let’s not forget we now have a new favorite color thanks to those gorgeous mauve bridesmaid dresses! Enjoy!

It’s Friday and the last day of summer. So we’re celebrating the only way we know how—with a super fun margarita bar, of course! Start with the salt (we opted for Himalayan pink!), add the rocks and tequila of your choice, infuse with flavor (to make it spicy, fruity or classic), garnish and voila! Put all these ingredients on an adorable hand-lettered table topper from Stephanie B Design and it’s pretty much next level! Cheers!

Dusty Rose + Black Wedding Inspiration

We do so many waterfront weddings, it’s easy to get stuck on the color blue (which seems to be what EVERYONE wants this year!). And while we absolutely adore layering water tones with neutrals—because it always turns out gorgeous, duh!—every now and then we need to push ourselves creatively to get out of the rut. Enter this fun tablescape that’s a tad feminine, a tad modern, and a whole lot of pretty! We’ve been literally trying to convince every client to use this black flatware from DC Rental because we’re totally obsessed. So, naturally, we had to use it on this design. From there, we wanted to steer away from basically all things traditional, so we opted for hand-lettered placemats in lieu of a table linen, used a fun triangular napkin fold (that came to us on the spot!), and incorporated modern accents like black votives and vellum menus. We’re obsessed!
